Does positive reinforcement work in the workplace?

1 comment:

  1. Positive reinforcement is giving a reward for acting out a desired behavior. An employee can be told to organize their bosses files and after doing this they will be rewarded by given a longer break. Being asked to fax documents to another company will reward them with a free lunch. The employee can also be asked to help with meetings and print out important documents. By doing this the reward would be a schedule made by his preference. Positive reinforcement works in the workplace because both the employer and employee are satisfied. The employer gets what he needs to be done and the employee is receiving rewards.
